One of the most recognized trial lawyers in Chicago, Raul Villalobos has been helping the Hispanic community for over 35 years. After graduating from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1974 he worked as a prosecutor of major criminal prosecutions for the Cook County Assistant State's Attorney and also established his own practice on the South Side of Chicago.
His commitment to helping the community led him to serve as the President of the Chicago Public Shool Board from 1981 to 1983, where he worked to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Chicago's public schools. As a founding Partner of Rodriguez and Villalobos, Raul Villalobos concentrated on corporate litigation representing Fortune 500 companies, public agencies like the CHA, and other large corporations such as Kraft Foods and Ameritech, while also practicing criminal law in his private practice in the Pilsen neighborhood.
Currently Villalobos and Associates continues to serve the Hispanic community, representing individuals and businesses in criminal, corporate, family, and real estate matters, drawing upon his 35 years of experience. Raul Villalobos has experience representing clients in high profile cases (such as the E2 tragedy) and always works hard to help his clients, no matter how complex or difficult the case may be. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Bar.
